Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola was pleased with the result - but not the performance - after their 3-1 Champions League victory over Sporting Lisbon last night.
Rafael Marquez, Samuel Eto'o and Xavi struck for Barca, but Guardiola insisted afterwards: "It was good to win, but we played better on Saturday (against Racing Santander).
"The impression of my debut in this competition is satisfying, although there are things that we did not do well.
"We created many chances and were able to make the most of them tonight. After the 2-1, when they moved from midfield, it seemed that we would create another, but in reality they could not get past us."
