FC Groningen have confirmed they intend to sell defender Virgil van Dijk in the summer.
The Dutchman is a target for Everton, Newcastle United and Brighton ahead of the summer market.
Groningen sports chief Henk Veldmate revealed: "We must take into account the departure of Virgil. This means we will need to find at least one centre-back this summer.
