Released Manchester United midfielder Dion McGhee has been handed trials by SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

McGhee was allowed to come off contract at United in June.

Kicker says the youngster has been offered extended tests by Greuther Fürth, of the German second division.

McGhee was with United from the age of six and can play in a number of roles across midfield.

He was a regular with the U23s last season.
