Lazio are closing in on Gremio defender Rever.

Gremio have already revealed one offer from Lazio has been turned down, but talks are continuing between the two clubs.

The Brazilian outfit's vice-president Luiz Onofre Meira said: "We are talking to Rever, with his agent and representatives of Lazio.

"It's time for a definitive decision to be made. For our sake, we want Rever to remain with us for season 2010."
