Gregg Wylde hoping to keep Rangers place

Gregg Wylde hopes he can keep hold of his place at Rangers.

The 19 year-old midfielder replaced on-loan Manchester City winger Vladimir Weiss for their Europa League defeat to PSV Eindhoven.

"I heard Vladimir was carrying an injury and when the gaffer told me I was playing I was over the moon," Wylde said.

"I thought I did all right. I haven't played as many games as I thought this season but it is an opportunity for me and Vlad to fight for that place.

"When he goes back to Man City at the end of the season hopefully I can get the place on my own.

"But hopefully I can get a chance on Sunday.

"We will have to wait and see. There are a few injuries with (Kyle) Lafferty and (Kyle) Bartley, so hopefully I can get a chance."
