Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood remains under contract with the club.

The forward will not play for the club's first team ever again, per a United statement.

Greenwood and United have agreed to a mutual parting of ways in the coming weeks.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Greenwood cooperated with Greater Manchester Police when they investigated him for rape and coercive behavior.

United were given explanations for the audio and photos that the alleged victim released onto social media in early 2022.

The club will support Greenwood in finding a move away from United, but will not bring him back to play for the first team.
