West Ham United boss Avram Grant says the January market could come too late if results do not improve.
The Hammers drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion last night.
"In a couple of weeks we will think about January and what can be done," he said. "We know that, in certain areas, we can do better but the financial situations needs to be discussed again.
"I don't see any of the 10 teams above us playing better but we don't have the points and that is what counts. Last season most of the problems for me were off the pitch at Portsmouth but this is not so now. Nothing has prevented me from doing my job.
"There are things we can learn, though, and one thing is to be patient. There is always pressure. It is not a bad word. I was a few months without pressure and I didn't know what to do with myself."
