Laurent Blanc believes Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League triumph over Chelsea can be the start of something huge for the club. The French champions drew 2-2 with the Blues in the Round of 16 second leg at Stamford Bridge to progress to the quarter-finals on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate.
The result came courtesy of equalising goals from first David Luiz - after Gary Cahill's 81st-minute opener - and Thiago Silva following Eden Hazard's penalty early in extra-time all of which occurred after Zlatan Ibrahimovic had been questionably sent off.
The result sparked the following reaction from PSG boss Blanc: "We played the better football and created more chances. Even a man down, the players were very ambitious.
"We defended very well and it was a fantastic performance from the whole group.
"We want to be one of Europe's top clubs. This game will be seen as a turning point in the history of the club and I'm really happy tonight."
