Granada have signed Club America wing-back Miguel Layún.

The Mexico international has signed a deal to 2019 with Granada, with the transfer to be confirmed tomorrow, says El Mundo Deportivo.

Layun's agent also claimed interest from Chelsea over the weekend.

The midfielder, 26, had a previous year in Europe with Italy's Atalanta and holds a Spanish passport.

Layun played four times for Mexico at the World Cup and is expected in Granada on January 2.
