Sky Sports is reporting that Newcastle have agreed a fee with Bordeaux for striker Yoan Gouffran. The former France U21 international is available for a cut-price fee as his contract expires at the end of the season.
Newcastle reportedly placed a bid of £750,000 for Gouffran, and were snubbed, but reports suggest they have come closer to their asking price of £3m.
