Craig Gordon is delighted to be joining fellow Scot Russell Anderson at Sunderland.

Anderson moved in a £1m deal and Gordon believes he deserves greater recognition at international level.

He said: "He's a very composed centre-half. He probably doesn't have as many Scotland caps as he deserves. If he gets a run of games, I think he will do very well."
