Brisbane Roar's revolving door continues to turn this week with Michael Zullo and Henrique likely to return to the fray for the Hyundai A-League clash against Perth Glory at ME Bank Stadium on Sunday.
The news somewhat softens the blow of Matt McKay's absence (quadricep tear) and doubts over Danny Tiatto after the former Socceroo tweaked his troublesome hamstring at training this morning.
Henrique returns after a one week suspension, while for Zullo a return will signal the end of a frustrating spell of injuries in a "disappointing" start to the campaign.
The 21-year-old hasn't played senior football since round two, but solid performances in the youth team and at training have put him in the frame for Roar coach Ange Postecoglou.
"I've been really happy with the way he's trained the last two weeks," Postecoglou said.
"As to whether he starts or not, I'll have to look at the team at the end of the week, but I'd say if he keeps training the way he is he'll definitely be in the first team squad."
Zullo was understandably eager to put a forgettable start to the season behind him and force his way back into the squad.
"I still have to be careful with it but I'm 100 per cent (fit)," the talented left-winger said.
"I've been at full training now for three weeks so I just want to get back into the squad."
Brisbane Roar's match against Perth Glory kicks off at 6pm AEST this Sunday and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 2.
