Rumours that Heurelho Gomes was set to depart Tottenham in the summer have been rubbished by manager Harry Redknapp.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has come under fire for some of his howlers this season but has been Spurs number one, appearing 39 times in all competitions.
Redknapp decided to start Carlo Cudicini in the midweek loss to Manchester City, indicating that perhaps Gomes was on his way out, but the Spurs boss says that the former PSV Eindhoven man will be at White Hart Lane next season.
"Yes he will be my number one. Carlo Cudicini played well the other night but Gomes will still be here. He's a top-class keeper," he said.
