Heurelho Gomes fears Tottenham losing Gareth Bale if they fail to clinch a top four finish. Bale only penned a new deal earlier this season, but goalkeeper Gomes has concerns.
"When you play Champions League every player wants to sign for Spurs," said the Brazilian.
"Maybe without Champions League it's a little bit difficult to sign very good players, and also to keep the best players. Gareth is important to us."
Bale was linked with Manchester United and Liverpool on the weekend should Spurs fail to finish in the top four.
While United are regarded as favourites for Bale, at Liverpool, it was sports chief Damien Comolli who signed the former Southampton junior for Spurs.
