PSV Eindhoven midfielder Jason Culina is set to be named Gold Coast United's marquee signing for season 2009/10. Gold Coast sources have told tribalfootball.com that terms have been agreed with Australia international Culina, who will move to the A-League at the end of the current European season.

The midfielder's salary is understood to be in the region of $1.2 million and will end Gold Coast's pursuit of a big-name marquee signing for their first year in Australia's top-flight.

A-League clubs are restricted to signing one player outside their salary - known as a marquee.
