Gold Coast United coach Miron Bleiberg admits a win over Wellington Phoenix tonight will set the club up for the rest of the season.
The second-year club are sitting seventh on the table but are just two points off second and a win at home over a Phoenix outfit who struggles on the road would be perfect according to the coach.
"This is one of those games that could define the shape of the season from our point of view," Bleiberg said.
"If we win, by the end of the game we could be second and by the end of the round we may be third or fourth.
"If we don't win we will stay out of the top six.
"As much as it sounds funny, there is a lot at stake on this game."
