Ivory Coast international centre-back Steve Gohouri is a target for Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce.

The Mirror says Allardyce is inviting the towering Borussia Monchengladbach defender for talks and a 'test' and could snap him up for a bargain fee from the Bundesliga outfit.

Giant Gohouri, 28, is in the last year of his contract and Borussia will sell him as they want to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.
