Goalscorer Ajer: Man Utd saw one of Brentford's best Prem displays

Brentford defender Kristoffer Ajer was left frustrated after their 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

Mason Mount had United ahead on 96 minutes, but Ajer earned the point three minutes later.

“It was a crazy game," Ajer told the Bees website. “We played one of our best games in the Premier League and created so many chances. On a different day we win quite comfortably.

“When they scored the 1-0 goal it was a punch in the face for the whole team, but luckily we managed to get the equaliser."

The Norwegian added: “Two in two now, that's not like me! It was fantastic play from Ivan to bring that ball down and the cutback was amazing.

“It was amazing to celebrate a really deserved goal. We fought the whole game to get it, so we had to celebrate it.

“We defended very well, which is the most important thing. It was an unlucky goal to concede: two tackles, two deflections that bounced for them and a good finish.

“The mentality in the group is fantastic. It was tough to concede the goal but I knew we would create more chances."
