Borussia Monchengladbach coach Max Eberl admits he's unsure of Newcastle United's plans for Luuk de Jong.
The Dutch striker joined Newcastle in January on-loan and would like to sign permanently.
But Eberl says there's been no word from Toon.
"We will have to wait and see what happens with Luuk de Jong. There are places available in our attack of course and we need to take a closer look," said Eberl.
"But part of that includes what happens with De Jong."
