Borussia Monchengladbach striker Luuk de Jong is determined to make the most of his move to Newcastle United.
De Jong is on-loan at Newcastle to the end of the season.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "It's a club that really wants me. It's a great club in England and the Premier League is a massive competition.
"I'm already enjoying my time here. I have a good feeling about it. Newcastle have been after me for a few years now, from when I was at FC Twente, and that gives me a good feeling.
"I'm really happy to get this opportunity to play."
