Shay Given says Aston Villa's fans will be crucial in their season run-in.

He believes the crowd's contribution during next Sunday afternoon's match against Liverpool and the following home games against Fulham, Sunderland and Chelsea could be crucial.

"The home games are very important and, with the Villa faithful behind us, it's a great opportunity to get the three points like we did last weekend," said Given.

"It's a fantastic atmosphere and we've got to use that support that we have to get us across the line. We've had two great results to be fair, so the mood in the camp is pretty buoyant at the minute. We're all delighted with two victories in the last two games."
