Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud admits he was nervous about their pursuit of Gonzalo Higuain.
Giroud felt Higuain would've arrived as a direct competitor and was relieved when he left Real Madrid for Napoli.
"We (He and Higuain) would have been in direct competition because he is a pure central striker. Of course, at the time, it would have bothered me a bit. But I was not afraid of competition."
