Giroud feeling proud as Arsenal qualify for another FA Cup final

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was left with a sense of pride as the North London club advanced to another FA Cup final.

The Gunners came from behind to beat Manchester City 2-1 in the semi-final at Wembley on Sunday and now have the chance to make it three cups in four years following their 2014 and 215 triumphs.

"In [four] years, it's going to be the third final that we play. I'm very proud of that," said Giroud.

"This afternoon we've done very well, [shown] a lot of solidarity. There was great togetherness in the team, we fought for each other and it was a great fight actually, especially for me in the front against the defenders.

"We've been efficient and even though we conceded, we finished very strongly and we're happy for all of our fans."

Nacho Monreal and Alexis Sanchez scored in the 71st and 101st minutes respectively following Sergio Aguero's 62nd-minute opener.
