Olivier Giroud explained his goal celebration during Arsenal's win at Crystal Palace.
The France striker followed up Danny Welbeck's shot to double the Gunners' lead against Crystal Palace before pointing to the sky and signing the letter j with his hands.
"I knew that Johanna, a young girl who I knew from the south of France that I visited at hospital a few months ago.
"She passed away so I was really affected by that and that's why I wanted to pay a homage to her, her family and her parents.
"It was a crazy end to the game and we were a bit lucky but I think we deserved the win. It could've been frustrating if we didn't come back with the three points so I think we need to be cautious and more focused at the end of the game."
