Dani Osvaldo's girlfriend has been carjacked in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires according to reports.
Italian striker Osvaldo, 29, joined Buenos Aires giants Boca Juniors on loan in February but his shift to La Bombonera hasn't gone smoothly after news emerged that his girlfriend, Jimena Baron, was robbed at gunpoint before thieves fled with her car.
Osvaldo, who is still contracted to Southampton, did not attend Boca training on Thursday morning in order to remain close with his partner.
The former Roma star has had a tough time of it since joining the Saints in 2013, having been sent on loan to Juventus and Inter Milan, prior to his Boca move, due to disciplinary issues.
