Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs is under consideration as Sir Alex Ferguson's eventual successor.

The Daily Star Sunday says when the ­master manager does decide to retire, Giggs will be in the frame, along with France coach Laurent Blanc.

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, who has won league titles in four different countries - Portugal, England, Italy and most recently Spain, will also be considered.
