Getafe president Angel Torres remains hopeful of hanging onto captain David Belenguer. The experienced defender is weighing up his future at Getafe and has offers from MLS to move to the United States for season 2009.
Torres said: "I still believe there is a good chance he will stay."
Belenguer has been linked with FC Dallas and Chivas USA.
