Getafe president Angel Torres says no action will be taken against Allan Nyom after claims made by Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman.
Koeman complained after defeat at Getafe that Nyom had fired insults at him during the game. The Dutchman also made his feelings known to Getafe coach Jose Bordalas, who stated he would speak to his fullback on Sunday.
But Torres stated yesterday that he had met with Bordalas for an update and the coach declared Nyom had denied Koeman's claims. For Torres, the case is now closed.
The club president said via Mundo Deportivo: “I am respectful, when the game is over, everything is over. With all due respect, I don't know if he told the linesman, the referee or the fourth official.
"I talk to the coach every day and he says that the kid denies everything and that's it.
"I spoke with Nyom yesterday, he is super calm."
He added: "The game is over, I'm not going to say anything new. Once the referee has whistled, it's over."
Getafe stunned Barcelona 1-0 on Saturday thanks to Jamie Mata's winner.
Nyom played a full ninety minutes on the day at right wing-back, running the line for one half where Koeman and Bordalas were monitoring the game.
The former West Bromwich Albion defender joined Getafe last year, signing a two-year contract with the option for a further year. He had been on the books at the Baggies for three years.
