La Liga side Getafe have next to no chance of borrowing Mason Greenwood for another season.

The centre forward is not wanted by United due to his previous legal troubles.

However, The Sun states that he will not be given out on loan when he can be sold.

United want to recoup a significant fee for the 22-year-old, given the time they spent developing him.

There is also the possibility that new investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe will bring him back into the first team fold.

Greenwood has not featured for United since he was arrested in January 2022.
