Getafe coach Michel admits his son, Adrian, was offloaded by the club against his wishes.

Michel has no doubts Adrian would still be a Getafe player if he wasn't his son.

He told Soccer is Life magazine: "Was what happened to him fair? No, when I stop to think about it. He wants to be a footballer, but he has to do so somewhere else, not at Getafe.

"(President) Angel Torres and I have not even talked about it. It was a decision of the president not to continue with his existing contract.

"I cannot support this, only respect his decision."
