Getafe coach Bordalas: Williams needs to say again the insult he made to me!

Getafe coach Jose Bordalas and Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams continued their war of words after last night's 2-2 draw.

Bordalas was sent off late into the game after exchanging words with Williams.

Later, Williams gave his version of events: "Everyone in the Primera Division understands him and knows what his team plays. It's legal, but many of us don't like it."

In response, Bordalas snapped: "What Iñaki Williams said about me is opportunistic and out of place words. What he should say is the insult he said to me, which was serious."

Regarding the red card he was shown, Bordalás commented: "It is totally unfair, I have nothing more to say about it." And he specified that the referee "has not explained absolutely anything to me".

Questioned again about his version of events, Bordalás stated: "I'm not going to talk more about that topic. Aren't you interested in the game? It was a very hard-fought, intense game, Athletic in a good moment, with incredible fans.

"Difficult, complicated game, we have made a daring proposal. The team has not locked itself in. I would like them to talk about it one day, we have not been a stingy team, we have gone for the victory."
