Liverpool great Fernando Torres insists he will never forget his Anfield comeback.
The Spanish striker graced the hallowed turf of the Merseyside club for the LFC Foundation All-Star charity match on Sunday to play with and against Reds legends like Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.
Torres, now on loan with Atletico Madrid from AC Milan, was one of the world's best attackers during his time with the club and admits his return was an unforgettable moment.
"It's difficult to explain what you feel when you are in Anfield and playing a football match in Anfield," he said.
"It's difficult to explain when you are playing for the home team, it's a bit different when you are playing for the away team!
"But today was a day I will never forget for sure.
"It was so emotional to play again with my team-mates who we had such a great time playing for Liverpool together and especially the reaction of the supporters."
