Fernando Torres believes he will not play alongside a player like Steven Gerrard for the remainder of his career.
The Atletico Madrid striker spent more than three years with Gerrard at Liverpool and admits the former England captain had a massive influence on his career.
After gracing the pitch one lost time with Gerrard in Sunday's All-Star charity match at Anfield, Torres spoke of his admiration for the Reds icon.
"I have said many times that Stevie is the best player I have played with ever and I don't think I would play with a player like him again," said Torres.
"He changed my game, the way I used to approach games, my ambition, everything, so when he called me to invite me to the game I said of course. I would have done anything to be here.
"All my great memories in my head are next to him.
"It was an important day for him so the least I could do was be here for him."
