Gera excited about Fulham move

Former West Brom midfielder Zoltan Gera is excited about his move to Fulham.

He told fulhamfc.com: "When the season finished the option came up to come and talk to Fulham, it was something I was keen to do. I had seen them play a few times last season towards the end and I was really pleased with what I saw."

Yet seeing a team play and wanting to sign for them are two very different things, however after some time spent with Roy Hodgson, the Hungarian attacker was totally convinced that it was the move for him.

"The Manager was very welcoming when I came," he said. "He explained to me his vision of where he sees this team going and what he would want from me if I came to the Club.

"I was excited about what he wanted to achieve and the players he wanted to bring in. The summer has gone well in terms of preparation, and we have some excellent people in the squad that make this a very strong side that can achieve good things this season."
