Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has scoffed at AC Milan counterpart Silvio Berlusconi's calls for a salary cap.
"Milan, Inter and Juventus have been doing the opposite of what Berlusconi is now preaching," said Preziosi. "We are in the world of excess and the crisis is now being felt.
"There are now super salaries, but certainly the small-to-medium sized clubs want this."
He added: "A solution would be that the salaries of the players should not exceed 70-80% of the revenues of the clubs."
