Genoa president Enrico Preziosi is adamant that Diego Milito will not be sold in January.
Inter Milan are chasing the Argentina international, but Preziosi insists: "There was contact between (Inter director) Marco Branca and our sports director. He knows we have already made arrangements not to open any talks.
"We will not do anything. £25 million? Not even for all that money would I change my mind. The talk is simple and goes beyond the affection and esteem for Milito.
"At Genoa at the moment we have no alternative, I am not referring only to the technical and tactical capabilities of Diego, but also the spirit with which he interprets his role as leader. He is the soul of the team, he is good for Genoa and Genoa is happy with him.
"There is no reason to sell him."
