Genoa have dismissed talk of Alberto Gilardino moving to Napoli.
The striker has been linked with Napoli as a replacement for Edinson Cavani, now of PSG.
"Gilardino to Napoli? I'm not aware of that," Genoa President Enrico Preziosi told TMW on Wednesday afternoon.
"I've had no contact with Napoli and therefore I can say that there has been no official offer made for Gilardino.
"We're keeping Gilardino in attack, otherwise who would play? I would have signed Edinson Cavani, but I was too late " he smiled.
