Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed star pair Diego Milito and Thiago Motta are moving to Inter Milan at the end of the season.
Arriving in the opposite direction will be Robert Acquafresca and Preziosi said: "I met with [Inter President Massimo] Moratti over breakfast and we agreed a deal.
"It was a painful decision and I thank the players for all they have done for us this season. There are some economic and technical parts to the move, but I will only confirm Acquafresca is included." Acquafresca is owned by Inter and on loan at Cagliari this term, but was told he was surplus to requirements at San Siro.
