Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini regrets taking the Inter Milan job.
Genoa meet Inter today.
"Perhaps I should never have taken the Inter job or started that adventure," confessed Gasperini.
"They made a mistake choosing me and I was wrong to accept the offer, because I simply couldn't work in that environment. We had two very different ideas of football.
"It was three years ago, but I'm not over it yet and I don't think anything has really changed at Inter. I hope Roberto Mancini can handle it better than I did.
"I thank Genoa for having believed in me again. Would I enjoy a result tomorrow even more? Not for me, but for Genoa."
