Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis says manager Arsene Wenger has the unwavering support of majority shareholder Stan Kroenke.
Kroenke has already backed Wenger in the transfer market this summer with the signing of Germany forward Lukas Podolski.
Chief executive Gazidis said: "Stan Kroenke has been on the board for a number of years and has been working very closely, especially in the last year since he assumed majority ownership, with Arsene and with me.
"He could not have been more supportive and his ambition is very simple - he wants this football club to win trophies. He has supported us every step of the way as we have tried to put the pieces in place to do that."
