Aston Villa manager Remi Garde has admitted he and Gabriel Agbonlahor were at loggerheads over the striker's omission from Villa's side for their 2-0 loss to Arsenal last weekend.
Garde said he hoped Agbonlahor would learn from the 'disagreement' and it would ultimately benefit the club in the long run.
"When a player is not selected in the team, like Gabby last week, obviously it creates a disagreement," Garde said.
"Sometimes disagreements or mistakes in life are not definitive. Sometimes you learn, have a discussion and a new start. It can match or it can not match."
