Garcia concedes Roma still "small" Champions League team

AS Roma coach Rudi Garcia admits they're still a "small team" in Europe.

The Giallorossi were on the end of an historic 7-1 mauling by Bayern Munich and lost 2-0 in Germany, but are nonetheless second in their group ahead of Manchester City and CSKA Moscow.

"Incidents can happen, we reflected on the situation and dealt with it, aware we were playing one of the best teams in the world right now," Garcia said.

"We were strong to not lose faith in ourselves and also intelligent by showing we can play in a different way. It was a sign of humility accepting there are teams out there stronger than we are, as you don't become the best in a day.

"In Italy we are challenging, but in Europe we are still small."
