Galliani: UEFA Cup won't hurt AC Milan market plans

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists they won't suffer in the transfer market if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

He said: "It is not true, no player among those who we could buy would reject us because of the UEFA Cup. And I quote at random Ronaldinho, who previously went to Barcelona to play in this Cup, I think also that Luca Toni went to Bayern Munich when they weren't in the Champions League. The players consider the club.

"It's true that you lose an important resource in economic terms with the UEFA Cup, but if next season were in the UEFA Cup it would not hurt our market plans."
