AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani says they'll continue to push for a deal with LA Galaxy for David Beckham.

He declared: "We're working on him being with us until the 30th of June, 2010. It's the desire of the player to remain in Milan and contest the World Cup in 2010," said Galliani.

"David is willing to give up a lot of money, it depends on him and the ability of his lawyers to negotiate everything with Los Angeles, let's see what happens.

"He wants to remain in Milan at all costs."
