Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will seek a new defensive signing this month after William Gallas' latest injury.

Redknapp could now be forced into the January transfer market for another defender after Gallas limped off in the second half of their win over West Bromwich Albion with a muscle strain.

Younes Kaboul and sub Sebastien Bassong are now the club's only match-fit centre-backs.
