Galatasaray have been chasing Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Hurriyet says Schneiderlin was Galatasaray's prime target for the defensive midfield position,

However the Super Lig side have been told by Everton side the Frenchman is not for sale.

It's reported Galatasaray offered a €1.5m loan fee for the 29-year-old.

But the Blues said Schneiderlin will stay on Merseyside this season.
