Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt is expected to resist interest from Galatasaray.

The Daily Mail says the Dutchman does not want to leave and would like to fight for his place unless it becomes clear that Liverpool no longer want him. That is not the case just yet but that hasn't stopped clubs taking notice with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce among the early runners.

However, Kuyt is well thought of around Europe not only as a striker but hard worker and there would be no shortage of suitors ready to bid from the likes of Italy and Germany should he be available.
