Galatasaray star Drogba putting sentiments to the side on Chelsea return

Didier Drogba insists he is coming to southwest London with Galatasaray in pursuit of victory.

The Istanbul club take on Drogba's former side Chelsea in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday but the Ivory Coast striker is hoping to put past emotions to the side.

Drogba is well aware that he will be feeling sensitive before, during and after the match but is intent on performing well for Galatasaray in order to progress to the next phase of the competition.

"I belong to Galatasaray but of course there will be emotions. To see the Chelsea fans was special in Turkey (last month) but the game was tough," Drogba said.

"With all the respect I have for this club and the players I might not celebrate but if we win I will be happy.

"I think to leave Chelsea on a high was great. If I could do it I would do it again but I would always say I believe in destiny. If I wanted to play again for this team it could have happened a long time ago but it didn't and I am happy to be at Galatasaray.

"I just want to win this game and qualify. There is nothing personal against anyone here, there never will be."
