Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini looks set to depart the Emirates this summer as Galatasaray are understood to be close to announcing a deal for the Frenchman.
Flamini returned to Arsenal from AC Milan two years ago having spent several years away from the north London side, but has struggled to secure a first team place and last season spent much of his time watching from the sidelines.
It had previously been believed that Flamini would return to his native France, but several reports are suggesting that Turkish giants Galatasaray are on the verge of announcing the deal which is expected to be in the region of £3million.
Should a deal go through, Flamini would join up with former Gunners colleague Lukas Podolski at Galatasaray after his move to Istanbul early this month.
