Galatasaray are offering Martin Skrtel a bumper contract to leave Liverpool.
The People says Skrtel, who has two years left on his Anfield contract, has been told his salary will be a minimum £100,000 a week.
Skrtel was one of the cornerstones of Brendan Rodgers' defence last season. And now the stage is set for a tug-of-war between the two clubs over a fee as Liverpool will be reluctant to release him.
The 29-year-old is not unhappy on Merseyside but he will be minded that several big-name stars such as Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder have already moved out to Istanbul.
